Use of For Example, For Instance, Such as, Like

Use of For example and For instance

If you start a sentence with 'For example' or 'For instance', it must be a complete sentence (with a subject and main verb). Otherwise, put it in the middle of a sentence. Example:

Good: I love Chinese food, for example, Peking duck and Chow mein.

Good: I love Chinese food. For example, I like Peking duck and Chow mein.

Bad: I love Chinese food. For example, Peking duck and Chow mein.
